On the 27th running of the Kangaroo Tour, a 36yo Royce Dodemaide has become the first Australian to win it. Shockingly Team Chili is also the first Australian team to win the tour.
This also marked Royce's move into second place of the all time overall standings, passing the legendary Jerry "Always be number One" Grundin.
This is an exciting capstone on an epic career.
Surely he doesn't have anything else left in the tank?

Is he now the older rider to win a Div.1 race without TF?
Congrats
Rust, seems you don't understand jokes... That's awesome, for real :)
36 years of age, it's great to see him lasting into old age. Will you start the Aussie Aussie Aussie chant.
In cycling, they only disqualify those with blood anomalies who don't win Lance.
It's cycling morality, if you gonna cheat, be a winner.
Nice to see the jersey stay at home!
Congratz again! Strong achievement.
''Recently, OCM ADA published the blood analysis of rider Royce Dodemaide and found some anomalies... resulting in his disqualifying'' Nah, nice joke, great achievement at his 36's well done!
Will we see a who-retires-last-wins race between Roy and Hetland? The all-time 1st at the points-hungry classification is at stake ;)
Great work man!
Creagh is one of Australia's greats. AusGo, not so bad yourself ;)
Congrats mate! Well done
Congrats man, but you'll never be the first Aussie team + rider combo to win a jersey at KT. That will always belong to me :P
super achievement, you've done it
Technically Roy was 3rd until the tour was over :P
So this edition of the Kangaroo Tour was even more epic because it had the first and second on the all time overall standings competing at the same time! Epic times in Australia!
Wow, congratulations!
Congratulations
